1882 Ke Thachers Calculator Thatchers Slide Rule

This is an antique 1882 k&e thacher's calculator, or cylindrical sliderule. My father asked me to sell it on ebay for him. It has been in his personal collection wrapped in plastic for over 20 years. It is in good condtiion for its age. Pay attention to the photos which show the crack in the drum. The crack interferes with rotating the drum inside the cage, but not with left to right sliding. I've taken fvie pictures. Ask for mroe if you need them to make bidding decisions. There is no box or manual for this device. It will be shipped in many layers of bubble wrap with the necessary insurance applied at my expense. Buyer pays shipping, via us postal service. Priority is optional, ground is usually less, but slower. There are two numbers on the back board. Watchers tell me the larger number (4012) is the model number and the smaller number (1516) is the serial number. This doesn't seem to show well in the photos. My photos are higher resolution and were down scalled by ebay when uploaded.
